Stretch Fabrics for Rail/Horsemanship ShirtsLike what you see? The following fabrics are mostly lycra blends that have lots of stretch in them. They are perfect for the stylish zip up shirts that can be seen in all the western show rings but can also be used for back zip horsemanship shirts or new shorter style western pleasure jackets. I can pair one of these fabrics with a coordinating solid fabric (pick an accent color that is in the print of the fabric) for the collar and cuffs, add embellishments such as embroidery and rhinestones, and you will have a look that is all your own! I only have enough of each of these stretch fabrics to make 1-2 rail shirts or horsemanship jackets. Some fabrics only have enough for a child's show shirt or the yoke and sleeves of a women's horsemanship top. Please contact form to find out more information! Although the horsemanship shirts made from stretch fabrics can also be done with darts or princess seams, if you are looking for a shorter style pleasure jacket or longer showmanship jacket they will look more professional when done in a non-stretch fabric!
