  The Materials Used in Construction

Fabric:
Only high quality fabrics are use in all of the clothes made by The Winner's Fit. They are each individually picked, tested and approved by the company owner. The fabrics chosen vary in fiber content but are all durable, and high quality. Cheap, flimsy fabrics are never used!

Leather:
The Winner's Fit also uses high quality lamb, pig and cowhide leathers. Chaps are made primarily of cowhide because of the size and strength of the hides. This enables an entire leg of the chaps to be cut out without a seam at the knee. Occasionally pighides may be used if your custom color is not available in cowhide or if you want suede chaps.
For appliques, collars and cuffs on shirts lambskins are the leather of choice and are ordered to the color specification of each article of clothing. These skins may have varying finishes (suede, smooth matte, gloss, foiled, or pearlized to name a few) and the type and colors picked when you order are what will affect the final price.

Embroidery:
For the new embroidery designs that The Winner's Fit is doing, only high quality rayon thread is used. The exception for this is when metallic and holographic threads are used. These threads really make the embroidery sparkle and are a great substitute for extra rhinestones as embroidery is attatched permenantly to the fabric and will never fall off no matter how rough you are on it!

Rhinestones:
Sparkling Austrian or Swarowski rhinestones are used on each shirt (or chaps) and are either set with tiffany settings or glued with superior strength, washable, glue made specifically for rhinestones. The method of attaching the rhinestones depends mostly on the type of material they are being fixed to and the number of rhinestones being set.

Zippers and closures:
Each YKK zipper is tested multiple times before being sewn to the garment to ensure that it doesn't catch. They are then double or tripple stitched to make for a strong closure.
All buttons, snaps, and hooks are firmly attached to the garments and will be replaced if they come off with regular use in the first year!

Construction:
All fabric edges are professionally serged to prevent fraying and seams are double stitched in all stress points. Hems on all knit shirts are double machine stitched. On showmanship jackets and tunic shirts the hems are hand stitched firmly in place to give a neat look untucked.
Top stitching is used on all appliques and leather and wherever else is needed for a crisp winning appearance.
